Card Counting
Learning a counting system is the easy part. Applying it at table speed is where the real training begins.
Three Skills
Cards come fast at a real table. You need to count multiple hands instantly without pausing to think.
A shoe can last 30+ minutes. If your accuracy drops halfway through, you are making decisions on bad data.
You need to keep the count while having conversations, handling distractions, and staying accurate under pressure.
Your Roadmap
Follow this progression and each step builds naturally on the last.
Cards 2 through 6 are +1, cards 7 through 9 are 0, and 10s, face cards, and Aces are -1. Practice until you instantly know each card's value without thinking.
See a player hand and a dealer card together. Add up the count for both. This trains you to process multiple cards at once, just like at the table.
Now the hands vary in size: hits, splits, doubles. Keep the running count as the cards change. This is where it starts to feel like a real round.
Add more hands to track. Start with 2 or 3 players and work up to a full table. The count runs across all hands, not just yours.
Start counting through 3 cards, then 5, then 10, then half a deck, then a full deck minus one card and guess the missing card. Build up to multiple decks.
Once accuracy is solid, increase the card speed. Practice while having a conversation, listening to music, or in noisy environments. Speed only counts if it survives distraction.
The running count alone is not enough with multiple decks. Divide the running count by the number of decks remaining in the shoe. This is what tells you how far the odds have shifted.
Use the true count to adjust your bets and your plays. Some strategy decisions change based on the count. This is the final skill that ties everything together.

Practice Mode
Cards are dealt at adjustable speed and the app checks your running count after every round. It tracks your accuracy so you know exactly when to move to the next step.
